Summertime Fruit Pops

Most store-bought popsicles are made out of corn syrup, artificial colors, and artificial flavors. Meh. You can purchase healthy, 100% fruit pops, but you’re going to pay dearly for them.

Why not just make your own?

Ozera Reusable Popsicle Molds Ice Pop Molds Maker – Set of 6 – With Silicone Funnel & Cleaning Brush – Green

popsicle2A set of popsicle molds costs only a few dollars, and can be reused again and again. You can keep the munchkins stocked with frozen fun for pennies a popsicle! The popsicles shown above were made by filling the popsicle molds with very small pieces of fresh mango, and then filling the molds with orange juice. I simply covered the molds and placed them in the freezer for a few hours. Voila! Easy!

If mango isn’t your favorite, try filling the molds with diced strawberries or peaches. Experiment with other juices as well, such as lemonade or pineapple juice. Have fun!
