Garlic Chili Chicken Wings

Easy to prepare and full of flavor, Garlic Chili Chicken Wings make a great party appetizer on their own or a complete dinner when served with rice. The spice level of your chili powder controls the spice level of your wings. Go mild or go hot, it’s entirely up to you!

Ingredients (Serves 4)

2 pounds chicken wings and/or small drumsticks

12 cloves garlic, peeled

Juice from one lemon

4 teaspoons chili powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1) Combine garlic, lemon juice, chili powder, and salt in a blender or food processor. Blend together to make a paste.

Step 2) Wearing kitchen gloves, rub the garlic chili paste into all sides of the chicken wings and drumsticks.

Step 3) Cover the coated chicken and refrigerate at least two hours (or overnight).

Step 4) Remove chicken from refrigerator and arrange on a baking pan with shallow sides. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 35 minutes (40 minutes if the drumsticks are large).

Serve immediately!
