I’m sharing a vintage recipe with you today, friends, because December is busy and this recipe is perfect for those occasions when you do NOT have time to cook! You can make a festive bowl of Spicy Shrimp in five minutes flat. Don’t believe me? Set your kitchen timer and try this recipe!
Ingredients (Fills 1 large serving bowl)
1 pound bag of cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined), thawed
1 small container (about 2 cups) grape tomatoes
1 can of black olives, drained (Or, substitute green olives or artichoke hearts)
1 lemon, sliced into wedges
1/4 cup creamy horseradish
1 teaspoon chili paste
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
Directions
Step 1) Directly in your serving bowl (really), whisk together horseradish, chili paste, garlic, and parsley.
Step 2) Add remaining ingredients and toss together gently. Chill your bowl of Spicy Shrimp until serving.
Great post! 🙂
Thank you. 🙂
Yum!
Delicious recipe. And a good way to “stretch” out a shrimp appetizer, with the added tomatoes and olives. Have made this several times.
It’s good with artichoke hearts and Kalamata olives, but the under-4-feet tall set here at Crowded Earth Kitchen prefers grape tomatoes and canned black olives. 😉
